Yuan Jing, Xue Ying, Cui Xia and myself settled our dinner at Marina Sq's Dian Xiao Er (店小二). I've been wanting to try that place for a quite a while now and im glad we did, cause its really value for money. Ordered their Value Set Dinner, with each of us playing only $22.40, including tea, wet towels, svc and gst. We had rice, 6 dishes (which came almost immediately the moment we sat down) and a dessert!
After that heavy dinner, we headed to the Esplanade tunnel where the children's art displays were put up. Sadly, Yuanz had to leave cause she has to work the next day so she couldn't see it! The exhibition will be up till 2 Jan and the works are really adoring. Should really pop by to check it out if you're free!
the babies are uber cute!
And obviously, CX's spastic-ness rubs off on us.
A supposed beautiful photo with the christmas tree turned horrifyingly wrong. LOL.
On our way to Fullerton Hotel, just to check out its impressive interiors.
Our last stop was the Esplanade Rooftop. We had a good chat about whats to come for the years ahead. Exciting and terrifying at the same time.
This clique meetup was amazing, cause we really talked a lot. In a flash, we've known each other for 6 years already. And im glad to say that this friendship will extend for many more years to come. =)

Yesterday, Xin Mei, Calesta, Janice, Wendy, Sin Yee, Ying Qi and myself met up one last time (well, it's last time for me, at least) for dinner for Year 2007 before Qi and I fly off on Fri and Sat respectively. Prior to that, we kinda went house visiting.. Cal, XM and I were at Qi's house at 2+ then it was off to SY's. Hung around looking at photos, played ball, and even filmed a short short film. When i say short short, it's REALLY short. lol.Thereafter it was off to Clarke Quay! Absolutely beautiful place. Atmosphere is way better than christmas Orchard. Dined at Hooters, a testosterone-filled restaurant and bar because 90% of the customers there are men.
Shared a bottle of Heineken with XM. Fried stuff + ice cold beer = thumbs up!

Such a fun filled night with them makes me a happy girl! XD

29th-30th, Thurs/Fri - 31/06 Class Chalet
Aloha Loyang is way bigger, way better and way more comfortable that Costa Sands. My first experience at Aloha was good, aside from the huge horrid roach i saw. Tried playing tennis! uber fun and very addictive. Loads of food for BBQ. Gave out the presents that XM, Cal, SY and I made. Glad they liked it! After that, stayed up the whole night. Played mahjong, dai dee, bridge, INDIAN POKER!!! super fun game! hahaha! Gema was my tudi for mahjong. Marlene also learnt how to play under the tutelege of XM and Brian. i'll let the pictures do the talking. cant really rmb much since it was, like, a week ago.
Cal, Marlene, Brian, XM and I playing Indian Poker~
4th December, Tuesday - TJC Graduation Night
Qi, Xin Mei and myself gathered at Sin Yee's house in the early afternoon to prepare for the night's party. Nails, Dresses, Accessories. It was a true blue girl's grooming session, like those you see in chick flicks. Headed to Roxy Square at 4pm to get hair and makeup done. Watching the transformation of Xin Mei was probably the most thrilling of all. hahaha.. most unforgettable was her WTF handsign when i commented, "you look so diff can! super pretty now!"
Arrived 20 minutes late at Marina Mandarin but not that we missed much. I just want to say that i am truly thankful and glad to have sat with the 15/06 guys [Ming Jie, Benjamin, Leonard, Alwin and Seumas] simply because they are a super gung-ho and enthusiastic group of peeps! We were all out to win the bottles of alcohol that the prom crew were giving out. Though we didn't get a single bottle in the end, the amount of fun i had was well worth the effort. The enthusiasm was palpable and great friends were made! =))
It was a time to capture the glamourous side of people and boy, did i do that! Took over 120 photos that night. Any friend i could spot was not spared by my camera. lol. OH! and i must really commend our emcee for the night. Learnt that he was actually a J1 and not from an external company! he was absolutely entertaining. bravo~~!!
halfway through the dinner, the dance floor was opened up for about 20 minutes. Hiphop music rocked from the speakers and for a moment it really felt like we were at a club. The few of us had a good time letting our hair loose, even if it was only for that little while.
didnt go for post-prom event at Zouk. Instead, a bunch of us went to Party World to well, party till morning. 9 people separated into 2 rooms. As expected, Xin Mei, Cal, Qi and myself shared a room. Got high on F.I.R. That band's songs are a die-die-must-sing everytime we hit the KTV. Cabbed down to Downtown East at 6am for mac breakfast before heading home to snooze out for the whole afternoon.
The 0ne and only, 3106

Love the hair!

The super enthu 15/o6 guys!
6th December, Thursday - E Club BBQ
Finally caught Enchanted!! Sweet sweet innocence and a uber adorable chipmunk! While watching it i was immersed in fantasy. but when the lights turned on, i felt thrown back into the reality where 'fairytales doesn't exist.' sigh.
oh well. took a bus down to ECP after that for the BBQ. the turnout rate was pretty miserable for a club that has at least 4 times more members. AND WE HAD TO PAY. but what the heck, still had fun playing and eating and taking photos!
